Enhanced undo redo in Power Apps Studio

Writing on the Microsoft Power Apps Blog, Marcel Ferreira stated that Microsoft has made the undo and redo features in Power Apps Studio better. He noted that this update gives you more control and makes the authoring process more reliable.

Ferreira provided information about the enhancements to the undo and redo features:

  • Description of the actions – Introduces a description of the actions you can undo or redo.
  • Improved capacity – You can now undo up to 100 actions.
  • Enhanced reliability – The new undo redo experience offers more reliability compared to the previous version.

Ferreira wrote that this update helps you avoid unexpected changes in your app, especially for actions that don’t support undo, such as adding or removing a database.

He added that with more undo and redo capacity, you can try out different edits without worrying about losing your progress. The system keeps track of your changes, making it easier to reverse mistakes and prevent surprises.

Ferreira stated that Microsoft will first roll out the feature in early release environments and gradually extend it to all users.
