Enabling multilingual support on custom pages in model-driven apps
On the Inogic blog, Sam Kumar wrote that a recent project required adding multilingual support to a custom page in a model-driven app. He stated that the goal was to let users from different regions easily use the app in their preferred languages.
Kumar noted that Microsoft offers a detailed guide called “customize pages to support multiple languages” that provides step-by-step instructions for implementing this feature. He added that by following the guide, you can successfully enable multilingual functionality for your custom page.
Kumar first provided information about the client’s requirements. He explained that the client had a custom page designed to improve user interaction with specific forms and data displays.
Kumar stated that initially, the page only supported English; however, the client wanted the labels, messages, and other UI components to adjust automatically based on the language each user selects in the app. He then looked at the process of customizing pages to support multiple languages and how to approach it.
