Locate the tables for database log – D365 F&O
On her blog, Anitha Eswaran wrote that in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations the database log is a useful tool for tracking changes to important data. It lets administrators see when data is added, updated, or deleted, as well as who made the change and when it happened. This makes it helpful for audits, compliance, and troubleshooting issues.
However, Eswaran noted that one of the biggest challenges is choosing the right tables to log. She added that D365 F&O includes thousands of system and application tables, which makes it hard to know which ones are relevant.
In her post, Eswaran explained how to find and select the right tables from the long database log list so logging is easier and more effective.
