At Resco Next 2025 in Valencia, Resco CEO Andrew Lorraine opened the conference with a message centered on new solutions, continuity for customers, and the challenges that organizations face around enterprise app development and deployment to serve frontline workers.
The company showcased the upcoming release of Questionnaire Player Gen 2, which enables structured, intelligent data collection.
Questionnaire Player Gen2 does not replace the existing Questionnaire Player, but Resco has built it to serve new purposes by embracing the React framework rather than the older Woodford app building tool set. Gen2 will support accessibility as a standard and will allow for faster development, company representatives told the audience. And it will enable more advanced forms scenarios like nested groups, table components for rapid data entry, sliders, ratings, and advanced auditability. Resco will launch a beta version this month, followed by the introduction of preview features throughout 2025. General availability is planned for winter 2025.
The Resco portfolio also includes their Mobile App Development Toolkit, Power Components to extend Microsoft Power Platform with low-code, Mobile Solutions managing field teams, and Power Solutions for digitizing workflows.

While the company remains a dedicated Microsoft ISV, Lorraine explained that they remain focused on Biz Apps scenarios. In an accompanying blog post, he wrote:
