Your Feedback Is Guiding Us Forward

At Salesforce, we know that our greatest strength lies in our community. Throughout the year — whether through our recent Community Sentiment Survey, real-time conversations, listening sessions, or in-person gatherings — you’ve shared honest, thoughtful perspectives on what it means to be part of the Salesforce community today.

Over 7,000 community members globally participated in the most recent sentiment survey, highlighting what is currently working well, the areas where we’ve fallen short, and how we can continue to honor the values and connections that make the Trailblazer Community so special. When paired with the consistent feedback we hear from the community throughout the year, a clear picture has emerged: there is deep pride in what we’ve built together, but also real concerns about where we’re headed. Your voice has been and continues to be essential in shaping our path forward.

The big picture: We are stronger together

The community has always been the heart and soul of the Salesforce ecosystem — it’s a core part of who we are. Many of you shared how much the community means to you and the impact it’s made on your lives and careers.

Here are a few of your reflections that capture what makes this ecosystem so unique:

“The Salesforce community is vibrant, helpful, and responsive. Whether it’s through the Trailblazer Community, Stack Exchange, or local user groups, there’s always someone ready to help troubleshoot or offer guidance.” – Developer, India

“Salesforce has the best learning platform I’ve ever experienced. Trailhead is a HUGE help, and being able to practice and execute tasks in a playground before trying in the workplace setting is awesome. I also love that Salesforce offers credentials and badges for experience. It gives you the opportunity to show off knowledge and experience!” – End user, USA

What’s working well

Across the board, we’ve heard that our ongoing commitment to innovation and product development is resonating positively. You’ve also told us that programs like Trailhead, Community Groups, and Developer Enablement are delivering value. In our recent survey, you highlighted several areas where things are working well:

  • Trailhead received an 87% satisfaction score.
  • Local and global community groups remain one of the most valued parts of the ecosystem.
  • Developer programs and product reliability scored well, especially among newer members.

We were also encouraged to see that:

  • 64% say their perception of Salesforce has improved over the past year.
  • 78% say they trust Salesforce to act in the best interest of customers and the community.

These are strong numbers, and they reflect the deep passion and loyalty that so many of you continue to bring to the ecosystem. We’re incredibly grateful for that trust and are committed to earning it every day.

What needs work

While many maintain a positive outlook, we recognize there are also significant concerns that require our immediate attention. Your feedback has signaled that we may be drifting from our core commitments — leading to a sense of disconnect, diminished trust, and uncertainty about the company’s direction.

Here are some improvement areas you’ve brought to our attention:

  1. Renewed support and investment: We heard your disappointment about reduced support in essential programs like Salesforce Military and Well-Architected. We understand how important these initiatives are to you and recognize the impact of these lost connections.
  2. Restoring trust and transparency: You expressed concern around preserving the core values that define who we are, as well as a desire for greater executive transparency. These sentiments highlight an opportunity for us to foster meaningful dialogue between leadership and community members to ensure the community has a clear voice in the decisions that guide our direction.
  3. Unifying our community identity: You’ve highlighted the confusion arising from fragmented community identities. This feedback underscores the need for greater clarity and cohesion in how we present and organize our community experience.
  4. Balanced innovation: We understand your concerns regarding our strong focus on Agentforce. While innovation remains a priority, this feedback reinforces the importance of maintaining support and visibility for our core products.

Listening and learning from you

We’re already using your input to shape our investments, community strategy, and upcoming events. Here’s a look at the immediate actions we’re taking:

  • Establishing a community advisory board: To ensure your voice continues guiding our future, we’re launching a Community Advisory Board, kicking off this July. This global group of trusted leaders will co-create solutions alongside Salesforce, ensuring alignment with your expectations and needs.
  • Relaunching Salesforce Military: We’re reaffirming our commitment to veterans with renewed investments and enhanced support and engagement. To guide our efforts, we hosted a series of listening sessions, virtually and in-person, to better understand the needs and experiences of our military community. A newly formed team will be dedicated to the Salesforce Military program using that feedback to reshape and relaunch it in a way that truly serves the community and builds lasting impact.
  • Enhanced executive engagement: A Quarterly Coffee Chat series will foster open, transparent dialogue between Salesforce leaders and the community, making sure you feel heard and valued. We kicked it off last quarter with SVP of Trailblazer Community Leah McGowen-Hare, and former Salesforce MVP Melinda Smith. Our next series will take place in July with Salesforce President & CMO, Ariel Kelman.
  • Unified experiences at Salesforce events: We’re bringing together all of our communities into a shared physical space across Salesforce events, ensuring a unified and engaging community presence. In addition, we will be delivering a Community keynote at Dreamforce this year, made for the community, by the community.
  • Investment in community programs: We recognize that the architect role is critical in today’s increasingly complex environment. To be successful, architects need both the right content and a supportive community where they can grow and learn from each other. We’re actively exploring the best ways to re-invest in top-tier architect content and support the architect community, and we’ll be working closely with our Community Advisory Board to help shape this vision.

Our commitment to you

While the landscape is evolving, we want to reaffirm that the community remains as vital to our mission as ever. We are investing in both long-standing programs and new initiatives to ensure that the voice of the community remains strong. We’re committing to a biannual community sentiment survey so we can regularly listen, learn, and take action based on your feedback. It is through this ongoing dialogue and partnership that we will continue to build a thriving, dynamic community that leads the way in shaping the future. Every Trailblazer makes us stronger. Thank you for showing up, speaking up, and building with us.
