26 Things We Announced at TDX 2025

Our forward-looking statement applies to this blog.

That’s a wrap on TDX 2025! We blew the roof off Moscone West last week as Agentforce 2dx made its official debut. Thousands of Trailblazers from around the world gathered for two days of inspiring keynotes, hands-on workshops and expert-led technical deepdives.

As our marquee developer event, TDX is ground zero for some of the year’s most important Salesforce product announcements. This year, Agentforce stole the show, with an exciting lineup of new products and features designed to infuse agentic reasoning into every workflow and equip admins and developers with the tools they need to build, test, and deploy agents.

To help keep track of all the news, we’ve compiled a list of this year’s major TDX announcements.

Build

1. Invoke Agentforce from Flow, Apex or via API – no chat required. Agentforce API lets users programmatically configure a call to an agent, while Agentforce Invocable Actions allow you to trigger agents inside of Flow Builder or Apex. Lastly, Trigger with Change Data allows you to invoke an Agentforce automatically whenever there’s a record change. (Agentforce API – GA Now, Agentforce Invocable Actions – GA Now, Trigger with Change Data – GA Now).

2. Speaking of APIs, MuleSoft for Agentforce makes it easy to connect your Agentforce to your favorite apps and services. Using natural language, you can craft topics and actions from a wide range of Mulesoft APIs that can be triggered across systems and added into existing workflows. (MuleSoft for Agentforce – GA Now)

3. We also made it easier to build Agentforce with AI assistance in Agent Builder. Simply describe what you want to accomplish and Agent Builder can generate instructions and actions for your Agentforce. (AI assistance in Agent Builder – GA March 25)

4. And with the new DX Inspector, admins can view the metadata behind any Agent Builder project and fine tune their apps. (DX Inspector – GA Now)

5. We launched AgentExchange, where you can find prebuilt actions, topics and templates from hundreds of partners. We also released ISV Packaging for Topics & Actions, enabling Salesforce developers to package and monetize their own agentic components. (AgentExchange – GA Now, ISV Packaging for Topics & Actions – GA Now)

6. No Slacking off for your Agentforce! Now you can trigger Agentforce from Slack events, and pass back Slack conversational context to Agentforce without needing to rely on user-initiated action. (Agentforce Steps in Slack Workflow Builder – GA Now)

7. No need for teary goodbyes with your trusted Einstein Bots. Quickly convert them to Agentforce Service Agents! (Create AI Agents from Einstein Bots – Beta Now)

8. Bring the power of Tableau to Agentforce with Tableau Next, a next-generation agentic analytics platform that delivers self-service insights and contextual analytics through modular and reusable components. We’re also rolling out Tableau Semantics, a semantic model that enriches Tableau analytics with real-time business context. (Tableau Next – GA Now, Tableau Semantics – GA Now)

9. Eager to test out all these new products and features in a free, dedicated environment? The Salesforce Developer Edition has you covered, with Agentforce and Data Cloud pre-enabled so you can start experimenting with your wildest agentic use cases today! (Salesforce Developer Edition, GA Now)

10. Scratch orgs now support Agentforce and Prompt Builder. Start tinkering today for free!

11. When we launched Agentforce 2.0, we announced metadata-powered Enriched Indexing and Advanced Retrievers for our RAG pipeline, enabling Agentforce to glean more insight from larger datasets. Those features are now GA!

12. With great RAG comes the need for great citations. Inline citations show you exactly where Agentforce sources its responses from, increasing user confidence and helping easily spot any inaccuracies or hallucinations. This feature was announced back in December and is now GA.

13. Though Agentforce can operate autonomously, sometimes you’ll still want to sprinkle in a little deterministic logic. Variables allow you to explicitly define what Agentforce can or can’t do, without undermining its ability to reason. (Variables – GA Now)

14. We’re adding multimodal support in Prompt Builder for file attachments in prompt templates through related lists or dynamic file uploads. (File Inputs for Prompt Builder – GA March 25)

15. With Web Search Integration, Agentforce can search the web and access external site data to answer questions when no matching articles are found in the internal knowledge base. This feature is currently in restricted GA. To opt in, contact your AE for more details. (Web Search Integration with Knowledge Action: Expand Sources: Website with Filtering – Restricted GA)

16. Your Agentforce can go virtually anywhere. With Agentforce Surfaces, you can ensure your agents always show up with their best foot forward by dynamically tailoring the look and feel of Agentforce to any channel or device. (Agentforce Surfaces – Beta Now)

Test & Monitor

17. With an upgraded UI and support for batch testing, Testing Center helps you evaluate how well your Agentforce performs at scale and how closely your agents adhere to instructions and guardrails. (Testing Center UI, GA Now)

18. We’re making it easier to ensure Agentforce adheres to topic instructions and to validate its behavior aligns with user utterances. (Agentforce Guardrails: AI-Assisted Instruction Adherence – Pilot Now)

Deploy

19. Now that you’ve built and configured your Agentforce, it’s time to deploy! Agentforce in DevOps Center allows both low- and pro-code developers to push their agents out into the wild. (Agentforce in DevOps Center – GA Now)
